There are a number of situations where it makes sense to prevent users from adding new ideas, and/or liking or commenting on existing ideas.

For example, if you run a time-bound idea challenge, you might want to disable/turn off the ability to add ideas, and sometimes even to like or comment on them once a certain phase of the process has been completed.

Viima allows you to do that by making these features only available for admins. This can be done from the admin portal's User Restrictions page.

If set to "Admins", only board and organization admins will be able to perform these actions, thus disabling them for most users of the board.
