Your welcome message is what each new user sees whenever they access your board. A good welcome message should reflect your goals and help users get started with the basics.

P.S. To be able to complete the following steps, you’ll need to have an admin account for the target HYPE board. Please contact your HYPE Boards super user for access if you don’t already have an account.

If you already know your board name, the easiest way to change your welcome message is through the following URL:

https://app.viima.com/admin/organization-name/board-name/#settings/features

If you do this, proceed directly to Step 2. Otherwise, start from Step 1.

Now you should have the view from Step 3 open.

You can enable or disable your welcome message from the “Enable welcome message” checkbox. (We highly recommend keeping this enabled) The title and the message itself can be written into the text fields below the checkbox. You can also add a background image to your title and change the name of the button to open the welcome message in the board's UI. You can add a sponsor, to be displayed under the message's title. The sponsor can be a main point of contact, facilitator or an inspirational figure that will help you drive engagement.

Try to make your welcome message as descriptive as possible about:

To use images or videos to enrich your message, add them by uploading or embedding them from the insert/edit image or insert/edit from the message editor. HYPE Boards supports video embedding with YouTube and Vimeo.

Welcome to use HYPE Boards! This is the place where all of our ideas related to [use case] will be stored, shared, and developed further. In order to get familiar with the tool, you can simply examine it yourself or start an interactive tutorial from behind the user menu on the top right-hand corner of the screen.

All kinds of ideas are welcome, be they incremental or radical, this platform will give them a chance to grow and develop to a whole new level by getting input from colleagues around the organization. The best ideas will be picked up for testing and prototyping, after which it is time to evaluate their business potential.
